Combina is a bold typographic experiment that dares to mix two worlds: geometric sans-serifs in the spirit of Futura and Avenir, and a romantic cursive script inspired by early 20th-century specimen books. The idea was sparked by our hunt for contrasting styles that could live in perfect harmony. And they do.
The real magic? We’ve programmed the typeface to dynamically alternate between the two styles as you type—creating a rhythm and texture that grabs attention and never lets go. One of our script references, American Script from Pettingill & Co.’s 1901 Copper Alloy Type Book, served as a beautiful relic that helped breathe life into the softer forms.
What you get is a font that feels vintage and fresh all at once—sophisticated chaos with unmistakable charm.
