Gearz is a geometric grotesque with moderately open apertures. It combines the progressive design of geometric fonts of the first half of the 20th century (Neuzeit Grotesk, Erbar Grotesk) with the versatility of modern grotesques. In smaller sizes, low contrast and visually equal proportions of characters provide high legibility and a neutral sound. In larger sizes, sharp peaks appear, which bring a touch of expression to the character of the font. A laconic and practical grotesque for wide use
