Orelo was initiated as a research to find an alternative to the French Didot style font. Suggested some new approach in the field of ultra-contrasted typefaces was the goal. Orelo has an extreme contrast, refinement, balanced and contemporary letterforms. Orelo gets an elegant sensation, and sometimes, a futuristic flavor. The Hairline version is really really light but keep all the details and will be perfect for a big display headline. The ‘Optical’ axis pushes a better legibility for smaller size.
