Ransom Note is a cut-out letter font with a collage look. Every character looks like it was cut from an old magazine, a newspaper or a notebook page, then glued on in a slightly suspicious way. It mixes serifs, slab serifs, scripts and bold sans letters on torn paper in red, pink, mustard, navy, green and graph-paper grid. You get the full ransom note aesthetic without cutting up a single magazine.
You get two versions:
Ransom Note Regular (OTF): regular vector font – works anywhere.
Ransom Note Color (OTF): the full version with paper textures, torn edges and colored backgrounds. Just type and it’s done.
Ideal for punk, grunge, zine, scrapbook, Y2K and true crime designs – or anything whimsical really.
Please note!
The color version of Blackmail is bitmap-based and works in:
Adobe Photoshop CC 2017+
Adobe Illustrator CC 2018+
IndeignCC 2019+
Some browsers with color font support (like Firefox, Safari & Edge)
Note: Not all software supports color fonts.
