Blacknile is a heavy, wide all-caps display typeface with flat terminals, tight counters and the dense look of 1970s record shop signage and gig posters. Lowercase keys type the same capital forms, so every word keeps the same solid silhouette.
The family comes in four styles. Regular and Slanted are clean solid letters for logos, names and headlines. Halftone Regular and Halftone Slanted carry a printed dot pattern along every letter edge, built into the font itself, so large titles look screen-printed without any extra effects. A word set in all four styles stays within 2% of the same width, so you can switch between solid and halftone or upright and slanted without reworking the layout.
